Keith Cowling Director of Finance Telephone: 415-561-5035 Email: kcowling@sffs.org Combining a skillset that includes expert visual basic and database coding with a passion for film, Mr. Cowling has brought his expertise in GAAP to the Society, streamlining processes and creating efficiencies throughout the organization. In this position Mr. Cowling is responsible for the creation and monitoring of all department budgets, presenting financial statements at monthly board meetings and implementing company policy. After receiving his B.A. in Film Theory and Criticism from University of California at Santa Cruz, he worked for Landmark Theaters, where he was quickly appointed General Manager of their most successful branch, The Sunshine Cinema in New York City. He then served as the Director of Finance and Operations at the country's oldest art house theater, The Roxie, before finding his perfect fit at the Film Society. |
