The assumptions of mass media still dominate our ideas of how audiences behave. This workshop will explore how the internet has changed consumer behavior and how filmmakers must change the way they approach their audiences if they hope to gain their attention.

Chris Dorr consults on digital media strategy and business development for media and consumer electronics companies. His work crosses all IP delivery platforms to all screens from mobile to TV. Chris’s clients have included Samsung Electronics of America, MTV Networks, Shaw Media, the Tribeca Film Festival, Beyond Oblivion and A3 Media Network. He created and edited the Future of Film Blog for Tribeca.
