Join legendary documentary filmmaker Les Blank—The Blues Accordin' to Lightnin' Hopkins (1968), Always For Pleasure (1978), Garlic Is As Good As Ten Mothers (1980), Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe (1980), Burden of Dreams (1982), In Heaven There Is No Beer? (1984)—for an in-depth discussion on the art of documentary cinematography and visual storytelling. This class is part of SFFS’s Behind the Scenes series presented in partnership with PFA/BAM with major support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Directions: This class will be held at Futures Without Violence in the Presidio, a .pdf map with clear directions will be sent along with your welcome email three days prior to class.

Parking: Please note that all parking lots within the Presidio charge hourly and are regularly patrolled.
