The San Francisco International Film Festival has just made history as the first festival in the Americas to reach the 50-year mark. The San Francisco Film Society, presenter of the SFIFF as well as year-round film events and a growing Education Program , has fostered a climate of excellence in the exhibition of American independent and international film throughout its long history.
