Nancy D. Kates (producer, director) Mridu Chandra (producer)
Regarding Susan Sontag is the first feature documentary on the late writer, intended for public television, theatrical release, festivals, and the educational market. It will feature interviews with her colleagues, friends and enemies, along with extraordinary archival footage and still images. Susan Sontag was controversial and larger-than-life: beautiful, compassionate, maddening, insightful, arrogant, and utterly dedicated to her work. As her friend Gary Indiana wrote, “Sontag took it as a given that our duty as sentient beings is to rescue the world.”

Riding the Rail
Christopher Thompson

Many of them would choose to abandon life in the big-city “rat race” and migrate to the quiet beach town of Santa Cruz.
