We consider teachers to be one of our most important audiences. It is the teachers, after all, who connect us with Bay Area students, administrators and parents, and it is the teachers who help guide the direction and content of our programs by their regular participation and feedback.

We support teachers by providing year-round access to:
  • Relevant and timely media content
  • Curriculum development and study guides
  • Trainings and workshops in media literacy, film appreciation and analysis
  • Teacher appreciation events that include evening screenings and receptions where teachers can meet and greet, network and discuss film.
New events and opportunities will be posted here as they are scheduled, or you can sign up now to receive our email updates and be notified automatically. Email kzwolfer@sffs.org and ask to be added to our teacher mailing list.
